About Me
My name is Jillian Feigenblat and creating magic with other people is a passion of mine.
My journey in theatre started with an interest in my cousins extra curriculars with acting. I always thought "wow that looks like fun but I wonder how I can be behind the scenes on this show." That or the constant fascination with taking items apart to see how the work and being mesmerized with movies and shows I would attend. Always focused on the sets and thinking about how I would create something so intricate.
This has always stuck with me. It wasn't until I made the move from Connecticut to Florida at the age of 15 that I realized I could be the person making those things come to life. I joined the theatre club and never looked back, I had found my purpose.Â
I continued my journey from high school to college, where I attended Florida Atlantic University and graduated with my BFA in Theatrical Design and Technology in 2021. Upon leaving I worked as a props artisan at The Naples Players for the following year and sponged up all the knowledge I could, I worked with volunteers of all ages and juggled Props for every show as well as paint and set construction. After my contract had ended, I left for American Players Theatre to dive deeper into props at an Equity level.
Since then, I have revisited both The Naples Players and American Players, one as a properties coordinator and the other as an Artisan. For a more detailed look at what I've been up to, please take a look at my Resume.
I am a very positive person and am looking forward to creating and crafting for a very long time.
